Characteristics
- Perennial mixture of grassland legumes for the management agreement "flower field".
- A flower field increases the food supply (pollen & nectar) for insects (bees & butterflies).
- This increases their survival chances. More insects also means more food for all field birds.
- SOWING INFO
- Sow in late summer before the start of the management agreement or at the latest before May 1st of the 1st year.
- Resow in late summer of 2nd or 3rd year
- Each year:
- → In June mow 1/2 of the plot, the other 1/2 of the plot may (not mandatory) be mowed from mid-July.
- → Mow complete area between September 15th and October 31st.
- → Always remove mowing residue.
