Characteristics

• Perennial mixture of grassland legumes for the management agreement "flower field".
• A flower field increases the food supply (pollen & nectar) for insects (bees & butterflies).
• This increases their survival chances. More insects also means more food for all field birds.
• SOWING INFO
• Sow in late summer before the start of the management agreement or at the latest before May 1st of the 1st year.
• Resow in late summer of 2nd or 3rd year
• Each year:
• → In June mow 1/2 of the plot, the other 1/2 of the plot may (not mandatory) be mowed from mid-July.
• → Mow complete area between September 15th and October 31st.
• → Always remove mowing residue.
